We were off to the St. George’s farmer’s market when I spotted this strange little boat in the harbour. It didn’t look like it ever went anywhere, I think someone lived on it right where it was. It was quite the curiousity. What a scene and I put that photo in my ‘to paint’ file as soon as I arrived home. I felt that view that day depicted the harbour as it usually looked. It seems the sun always shines in Grenada and along with the scent of the many spices the island grows, there isn’t anywhere more beautiful. This painting was done with some acrylic, some gouach and a lot of felt pen in the detail. ![]()
